Trade Mission to China and Hong Kong
California companies must adapt to the challenges of globalization, transforming from an exclusive manufacturing or distribution mindset to “total solution provider” for today’s demanding customers. Moreover, California companies cannot ignore the emerging opportunities to supply complementary design, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and marketing services in China.
The California Centers for International Trade (CITD) with support from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and APGEI, Guangzhou, China have created an efficient 9 day trade mission designed for American small and medium sized companies who are looking to access the Chinese market for outsourcing, as well as import and export.

• Business Matchmaking with qualified importers and exporters in China and Hong Kong
• Sourcing- Attendance at the Spring Canton Fair, Phase 2- The world’s largest marketplace for manufactured goods with more than 9000+ suppliers in one location. Phase 2 product ranges includes: Gifts and Home Products, Hardware, Electronics and Textiles.
• International Trade Support- Pre-Event, On-Site and Post Trip :
a) import/export technical consultation and training
b) assistance with appointment setting in Guangzhou and Hong Kong (local escorts and translation supported)
