CITD Statewide Schedule of Classes and Workshops

Start Your Own Import/Export Business
Entering or expanding into the international marketplace is a matter of finding a market niche, identifying foreign buyers or suppliers for a product, and learning what public and private sources exist to assist you. This class provides an overview of the importing and exporting process, government regulations, documentation, payment options, market research, and what sources are available to assist you with your international interests. This educational opportunity is offered by the Center for International Trade Development (CITD) and the California-Mexico Trade Assistance Center (CMTAC), which are grant funded through the California Community Colleges to boost California competitiveness through local expertise.
