Incoterms are the official rules for the worldwide interpretation of trade terms developed under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris, France. Incoterms define the responsibilities of buyer and seller for delivery of goods under sales contracts.

The first changes to Incoterms in ten years will go into effect January 1, 2011. This workshop will provide you with critical information to help your business incorporate the new Incoterms 2010 into action! Gain a comprehensive understanding of the purpose, use and application of Incoterms. These terms are applicable to domestic as well as international shipping.

The new Rules have been revised to take into account developments in international trade over the past ten years as the volume and complexity of global sales has increased, to address security issues arising in recent times and to provide for the ongoing changes in electronic communication. The new Rules also recognize the growth of customs-free areas.
