Description
Most companies are unaware that compliance not only involves controlled goods and technologies, it also involves restrictions on shipping to certain countries, companies, organizations, and/or individuals.  Join us on June 26th to expand your knowledge on export and import regulations and to ensure your company's success in an otherwise murky area!

This Seminar will discuss tough issues like how to speed up the customs process with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) certification and how to stay compliant when exporting.  Larry Sullivan of the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security will discuss many issues facing local companies that are currently exporting.  Karl Parsons from the Department of Homeland Security will discuss the
benefits of C-TPAT and how it can cut down the time at customs!  By participating in this first worldwide supply chain security initiative, companies will ensure a more secure supply chain for their employees, suppliers and customers.
