Over 40 foreign buyers – three locations!
The California Centers for International Trade Development, in collaboration with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, is hosting a premiere trade event featuring California’s food and agricultural products. The Taste of California Trade Show provides California’s food producers and exporters the opportunity to meet with over 40 buyers from China, South Korea, Mexico and Southeast Asia.
One-day trade events will connect your business with foreign importers, distributors and retailers interested in consumer-oriented food products, following are the dates and locations:
- September 8, 2014 – Los Angeles
- September 10, 2014 – Fresno
- September 12, 2014 – San Francisco
Buyer focus is on consumer packaged/processed food items
This includes snack foods, food preparations, beverages and other grocery items. If you have exhibited/attended the Fancy Food Show or Natural Products Expo this opportunity is good fit for your product line.
Participation is simple
By registering for the Taste of California, your company will be provided a display table at your selected venue (Los Angeles, Fresno or San Francisco). In preparation for the event you will need to bring products to display and be prepared to discussing pricing and shipping logistics. This is low cost, low pressure opportunity to profile your products before qualified foreign buyers.
Registration Fee: $500*
*Qualified small businesses may be eligible to receive a $250 discount through the California State Trade & Export Promotion Program (STEP)
