Benefits of Participation
Inbound Buyer Missions provide an opportunity for your company to meet with potential export customers right here in California, reducing your travel costs and time away from the office.
November 5-7, 2012 (Marriott Oakland City Center, 1001 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94607 USA)
The Fresno Center for International Trade Development will conduct a California Connect Inbound Buying Mission in San Francisco and Fresno by facilitating an agricultural trade exhibition and match making opportunities for 75 California agricultural producers and distributors. This mission will focus on bringing over 60 foreign buyers from 3 or more countries to participate in a four day exhibition which will feature one-on-one meetings, site visits and cooperator seminars. The California agricultural producers will have an opportunity to exhibit agricultural products to targeted foreign buyers. This project will focus on countries from top export and emerging markets such as China, Taiwan, South Korea and Mexico. In 2010 similar international buying missions accounted for $10.5 million in export sales.
